Dr. William Clark

MBBS, FRANZCR

Dr William Clark graduated from the University of Sydney and trained in Diagnostic Radiology at the St George Hospital in Sydney. He then completed Subspecialty Radiology fellowships in both interventional and musculoskeletal radiology at the Canberra Hospital and the University of Iowa Hospital (USA).

Dr Clark has been Director of Angiography and Interventional Radiology at the St George Private Hospital in Kogarah since 1997. This is one of the busiest private interventional Radiology practices in Australia. He has extensive experience in a large array of vascular and spinal interventions. These include Diagnostic Angiography, Angioplasty and Stenting of Arteries and Veins, Testicular Varicocoele embolization, Ovarian vein embolization, Uterine fibroid embolization and Percutaneous vertebroplasty.

Dr Clark has been called as a clinical expert to the Medicare Services Advisory Committee and is an advisor to the Australian Government’s Devices and Prostheses Committee. He is a committee member of the Australian Day Surgery Advisory Committee, an active member of the Interventional Radiology society of Australasia and an honorary member of the Hong Kong Society of Interventional Radiology. He has performed teaching clinics and live cases in Hong Kong, New Zealand and Perth. He is the chairman of the vascular interventions review meeting for St George and Sutherland Hospital.

Dr. Chris Rogan

Dr Chris Rogan is honored to Join Dr Bill Clark at Southern Sydney Angiography in 2025.
 
Chris is passionate about the potential of image guided minimally invasive procedures to improve patient outcomes and treatment experience. He is motivated by patients obtaining great outcomes and being able to return to enjoying their normal lives with minimal downtime. 
 
Dr Chris graduated Medicine from the University of NSW in 2002 with First Class Honours and went on to complete RACS basic surgical training prior to advanced training in radiology at RPA Hospital. After fellowship training at Imperial College London, Chris was awarded the Thomas Baker Travelling Fellowship grant which opened the door to his travelling internationally visiting interventional radiology units across the UK and USA to obtain broad exposure to global best practices. That year, Dr Chris was also awarded European Board of Interventional Radiology certification.  
 
Chris is Head of Department of Interventional Oncology at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. Dr Chris has been President of the Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia since 2021. Dr Chris is currently involved in researching cutting edge embolization applications including musculoskeletal conditions and prostate and robotics. He has special clinical interests in embolization therapy as it applies to prostate enlargement, knee pain and liver cancers.
